Mallory Tryon

Mallory was raised in the Seattle area and moved to Utah in 2010 to attend BYU.  While at BYU, Mallory was able to intern with the Walt Disney Company, study abroad in London, work with youth-in-custody, and conduct university-awarded research on British-Indian marriages in colonial India. Mallory graduated with a degree in History Teaching and Art Education and began teaching at Walden in 2015. Mallory currently teaches the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme history courses, History of the Americas and 20th Century History. She also teaches many electives on rotation including U.S. Government, Gender Studies & Equality, Crime & Punishment, Sociology through Documentary, and Community & Volunteerism. Aside from teaching, Mallory loves being outdoors, reading, watching movies and spending time with her family (preferably playing cards or pickle-ball).
