Walden School Lunch Program

Please accept a heartfelt thank-you for your patience these last few years as we have worked to find the right recipe for a hot lunch program at Walden.  

Hours of Operation

When school is in session, breakfast will be served in the lower school building for all ages from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. daily.  Lunch will be served daily in both buildings during lunch periods.  Sack lunches "to go" will be available on early out Fridays.  Sack lunches will also be available on field trip days.

Summer Meals

In an effort to support low income families, the sites on this link provide free breakfasts and/or lunches for children up to age 18.

Cost

Breakfast is $1.45. The reduced fee is $0.30.   

Lunch is $2.50 for elementary and middle school and $2.75 for high school. It is $3.29 for adults & guests. Reduced price is  $0.40 or free, if you have turned in the proper paperwork and qualify. 

Students and families are encouraged to pay in advance with cash, check, or credit card online, in the main office or business office, but may pay at the time of service with cash or a check.

Snacks

After-school snacks will be available at no cost for all students enrolled in after-school programs.
