Board of Trustees
Walden’s governing board is comprised of volunteer community members who bring an invaluable set of skills to Walden through their combined body of knowledge. We are honored to have their wisdom and dedication providing governance to the school.
Justin Kennington has decades of experience as a much loved and respected educator and administrator in Utah. Walden is delighted to have his wisdom and expertise as the chair of our board of trustees.
Dr. Hilary Hungerford is a Human Geographer who studies the intersections of human and natural systems. She works extensively on urban environmental issues in West Africa, with an emerging focus on water issues in Utah. Her global perspective, along with a strong commitment to our local community, is a great asset to our school.
Matt Turner is an entrepreneur with ties to the global marketing industry. He chooses to make Utah County his home and has served on the Walden board of trustees for four years.
Joe Rankin serves as a certified public accountant for Provo School District’s Finance Office. He brings a wealth knowledge about school finance to our board of trustees.
Dr. Jeremy Knee serves as Associate General Counsel & University Compliance Officer at Utah Valley University and is father to a Walden student. Jeremy brings a wealth of experience providing legal protections for underserved populations in education.
